Make room
for outside.
Practical questions to help you prepare for a conversation with Monkey Masonry.
Start with how you’ll use it
Think about seating, a table, a grill, and paths between doors or gates. Sketch those items before choosing the footprint. A simple rectangle is a useful starting point; your final layout may be different.
Measure and photograph
Record approximate length and width. Photograph the full yard, the house-side edge, nearby paths, and equipment access. Mention anything already in the work area, including concrete that needs removing.
Discuss the edges and the finish
Show us where the patio will meet doors, landscaping, or another surface. Explain the look you want. Surface finish, drainage, access, preparation, and removal can all affect the scope and quote.
Make the first conversation useful
Send your city, rough measurements, photos, preferred timing, and the main thing you want the new space to do. You don’t need to arrive with a finished design.
